Beyond the Classroom
At Our Lady of the Holy Rosary St. Richard Catholic School, learning extends beyond the classroom. Our clubs and extracurricular programs allow students to explore their talents, discover new interests, and grow as faith-driven leaders—reflecting our mission to educate in a nurturing Catholic environment while fostering love, kindness, respect, and a spirit of service.
- National Junior Honor Society – Students lead service projects that benefit the school and wider community, developing leadership skills rooted in faith and service.
- Choir – Singers participate in weekly school Masses and once-a-month parish Masses, sharing their gifts and deepening their connection to the liturgy.
- Altar Servers – Students serve at weekly school Masses and once-a-month parish Masses, practicing responsibility, reverence, and service to others.
- Thespians – Perform in school plays and competitions, building creativity, confidence, and teamwork.
- Creativity Circle – STREAM-based activities where students design, create, and problem-solve through hands-on projects.
- Sewing Club – An iconic program at HRSR, where generations of students have learned to sew while fostering community, creativity, and patience.
Through these opportunities, students develop their talents, build confidence, and practice servant leadership, preparing them to be compassionate, faith-filled leaders in school and beyond.
