Service

At Our Lady of the Holy Rosary St. Richard Catholic School, service is at the heart of who we are and what we teach. Rooted in our Catholic faith and guided by our mission to form faith-driven leaders with a spirit of service, we help students understand that true leadership begins with humility, compassion, and a desire to serve others. Through school-wide service projects, our students learn to live their faith in meaningful ways—caring for their community and recognizing Christ in those around them. By fostering love, kindness, and respect in every action, we nurture servant leaders who strive to make a difference in the world with grace, generosity, and faith.

The opportunities listed below are just some of the many ways our students live out our mission of faith, love, kindness, and respect in service to others.

  • Respect Life Baby Bottle Drive
  • Blessing of the Pets in honor of St. Francis of Assisi
  • Toy Drives benefit organizations such as Fight Like a Kid and the Hispanic Police Officers Association
  • Thanksgiving Food Drive benefiting the Redlands Christian Migrant Association
  • Homeless Care Kits for those in need
  • Dress in Pink Day benefiting Susan G. Komen
  • Global Empowerment Mission outreach initiatives
  • Visits to the elderly at St. Anne’s Nursing Center

A majority of these activities are organized by the National Junior Honor Society and led by students themselves, giving them hands-on experience in servant leadership.
